At Human+Kind, we're always exploring new emerging sustainable materials on the market that not only provide value to our customers but also align with our environmental values. That's why we're excited to share our transition to packaging made from sugarcane tubes and polypropylene lids, which are both recyclable!

Why Sugarcane?
At Human+Kind, we're all about keeping things simple and sustainable. That's why we love sugarcane! This resilient and fast-growing crop possesses a remarkable ability to capture high levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere during its growth cycle.
Benefits of Sugarcane
Renewable Resource
Sugarcane is a fast-growing crop that can be harvested multiple times a year. Unlike finite resources like fossil fuels, sugarcane is renewable, meaning it can be replanted and harvested continuously without depleting the earth's resources.
Recyclable
Sugarcane based packaging, such as our tubes and polypropylene lids are recyclable contributing to waste reduction and a circular economy.
Reduced Carbon Footprint
Sugarcane is a carbon-neutral material, capturing high levels of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere during growth phase. This natural process contributes to the carbon neutrality of Sugarcane based packaging.
WHAT IS
Green Plastic
Green Plastic, or Green PE (polyethylene), is derived from sugarcane ethanol and offers the same quality and durability as traditional plastics. It's a win-win for both our customers and the planet!
We're committed to advancing sustainability within our brand, and our transition to sugarcane packaging represents a significant stride towards a greener future.

Our gift boxes are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and are recyclable. We also create our gift boxes in Ireland to help reduce emissions and air miles.

With every purchase of our gift sets, you have the option to choose between boxed or unboxed. Opting for the unboxed option allows you to contribute to planting a tree with Reforest Nation, supporting their efforts in restoring Ireland's woodlands.
Additional options
For those who prefer a boxed option, we offer the opportunity to make an additional contribution to plant a tree with Reforest Nation. By choosing this option, you not only receive your gift set in a beautifully packaged box but also make a positive impact on the environment by planting a tree.
